THE COURSE.

Team Registration

Celebrate the season with friends by creating a team! It’s easy as pumpkin pie:

1) The first person to sign up creates the team.

2) That person is the designated team captain. They will enter a team name and then finish their own registration.

3) Then, they can share the team name and password so others can join!

The sweetest part? Each team member will save $5 on their registration!

The team captain does not have to sign everyone up. Rather, each team member can sign up and pay for their own registration, all while still receiving $5 off!

Can I walk the course?

Absolutely! In fact, about 1/3 off all participants choose to walk the course. You’ll have a bunch of support and we’ll be waiting for you at the finish line to cheer you on!

We have two waves dedicated for walkers: Wave F and Wave G. Wave F is for solo walkers while Wave G is for groups that are walking together!

Volunteer

We always need volunteers to help make the race a success. There are several shifts to choose from when signing up as a volunteer. Besides having a great time, you’ll receive:

-Choice of a FREE race registration or a donation made to Girls on the Run

-Exclusive volunteer shirt + beanie

Parking

Parking is held in the nearby parking garages, surface lots, and meters. Please help minimize traffic by carpooling with a friend if possible.

We suggest arriving at least an hour and a half prior to race start to ensure minimal traffic and lines. Be a smart pumpkin and aim to park your car at 8:30AM.

Packet Pick-up

You have two options to receive your packet:

Friday Night: Swing by the park the night before the race from 4-6PM to grab your packet. This will help avoid any race day lines and make race morning even easier!

Race Day: Race day packet pick-up will be held at the park beginning at 8AM. If waiting until race morning, we suggest arriving an hour and a half prior to start time.

Wave Options

During registration, you’ll need to choose a wave. Waves break runners, joggers, and walkers into groups based on their expected pace. For example, Wave A is designated for runners maintaining a pace of 8:30/mile and under. On the other hand, Wave G is designated for those that want to walk with friends!

During registration when you select a wave from the dropdown menu, it will display the pace for that wave. Your best bet is to first decide if you plan on running, jogging, or walking and choose one of those waves. From there, estimate your pace to the best of your ability.

Not sure what wave is best for you? No worries! We suggest choosing one now as you can always edit it later. The event and waves are limited in size, so choose now for the best availability!

On race morning, Wave A will start right at 10:00AM. Once they clear the start line, the next wave will go, and so on. It’s a super easy process that helps alleviate crowding on the course and makes the entire 3.1 miles more enjoyable for all!
